Medhat Karam is ArpuPlus CEO. ArpuPlus is a multi-million dollars mobile value added services company in the MENA region and South East Asia. Medhat’s experience spans across general management, computer science and engineering disciplines where he has developed profound knowledge in internet business, mobile VAS, as well as managing software companies. Medhat held a position of Business Development Director of the A15 group, the largest internet and mobile company in the MENA region, where he was directly responsible of relations with Twitter, LinkedIn, Yahoo and many other international publishers. Previously, was the General Manager for the Education business unit in ITWorx, one of the leading software houses in the Middle East, where he was responsible of managing the business unit budget, setting strategic direction, products development, as well as identifying potential opportunities and clients. Medhat Graduated from Ain Shams University in Cairo Faculty of Engineering – Electronics and Communication degree with highest honors, then had his higher engineering studies from the same university.
