Hugh started in the Telemedia business in 1987 and has become a stalwart of the industry. He has lived and worked in the USA, Hong Kong and the UK and has had businesses operating in 23 time zones.
Hugh has achieved many notable successes, including being a co-founder of Interoute which recently sold to GTT for $2.3bn. He also helped with the start of aimm and served on its Board. He has generally been involved with most initiatives in the Telemedia industry.
In 2017, following a year of intensive research, Hugh co-founded The Cyber Authority. Hugh’s particular area of interest and expertise is with the appalling security surrounding the Internet of Things and smart connected devices, and he intends to deliver a fascinating presentation to delegates sharing his experiences in this area.
