Bill is an experienced consultant within the mobile commerce/marketing/media ecosystem, with over 25 years experience in the mobile industry, 20 of those years were spent in senior positions at Vodafone, including 8 years as Head of Commercial Partnerships, where he was responsible for the strategy and management of Vodafone’s premium rate voice, text and billing products and services, wholesale SMS, Vodafone’s mobile adult and gambling services, as well as head of mobile advertising. During his time in this role he grew revenues from c£3m per annum to over £130m.
Since leaving Vodafone Bill has sat on the advisory board and consulted to various businesses within the mobile commerce and marketing sector, which include MIG (since purchased by Velti) and Net-M/NTT Docomo, and was also Managing Director of Text It, an SMS/QR Code/Mobile Web marketing company. Bill’s current clients include SAP, BBC, Eskimo and Active Ticketing.
His background has given him a wealth of experience in mobile commerce, billing and marketing; along with a proven track record of developing strategies which deliver strong and sustained revenue growth.
